Navigating radiology exams in SmartZoom®

How to use radiology exams in SmartZoom®

Opening a radiology exam in SmartZoom® you will see the following:

You can open and close the navigation sidebar(1), in the main window(2) you can see the current exam, with the scroll bar(3) you can navigate through the layers of the exam and at the bottom, you can see the exams available(4), if there are more than can be displayed you can scroll horizontally to access them.

In the navigation sidebar, there is a full-screen mode(1) and you can navigate through the image with either the +/- icons (2), take an easyRadiology tour(3), and switch the image data on and off (4). There is the option to change the layout(5) to view more than one exam. You can adjust the brightness and use the measurement tools.

To view more than one exam, select the layout:

You can select between five layout options, for example, you can view four exams next to each other:

Once you've selected your layout, there will be placeholders, to choose additional exams(1a+b). The exams you've already selected will be highlighted in yellow (2)

To adjust the brightness click on the icon, it will be highlighted in yellow. Once you've selected it and move your cursor to the image (1)

Click and move your mouse from left to right to adjust the brightness.

 

There are two types of measurement, line (1 + 1a) and angle (2+2a). Select the measurement you want, move your cursor to the image and start the measurement by clicking a second click will finish the measurement. When measuring an angle you can then click again to create the second line, the angle between them will be added automatically.

These measurements remain only while you are within the exam and will disappear when exiting the exam or reloading the window/tab.
