Working with cases in SmartZoom®

How to navigate the case function in SmartZoom®

In the case viewer, you have aside from the slide four different sections, the top navigation(1), the slide navigation(2), you can switch between the different slides(3), and at the bottom you might find case notes(4).

The top navigation contains the possibility to share the case(1), if that feature is enabled on your platform and you can switch to full screen(2). If the she slide lock(3) is enabled the slides in the case will move in tandem. This can be set by the content creator as well as the end user. Reloading the case will always switch that setting back to its default.

When you open the case only two slides will be displayed, if the case contains more than two you can switch the view(4) from one to up to six slides:

The presentation curser(5) is also available in the case view, and you can navigate to the next case/slide in the course/folder(6).

You can zoom in and out of the slide with your mouse wheel or by using the + and - icons(1) you can also rotate the slide (2) these changes are temporary. The is the option to view just the slide in full screen(3) or with the additional content(4), you can see the list of annotations(5) and the slide information(6) if there are any. Please note, end users can't create annotations on cases.

By default, the minimap is turned off, but you can switch it on(7) to see where you are within the slide:

At the bottom of each slide, you can see the names of all the other slides within the case and switch between them. The highlighted name(2) shows you which slide you are currently viewing, you can click on the names or open the drop-down menu(1) and select which slide to switch to there:

At the bottom of the case, you might find custom content boxes(1), description and diagnosis(2) or nothing. You can switch between the tabs of the custom content boxes by clicking on the tab title. Please note the diagnosis might be collapsed and you'll need to open it(3).
